
Our Story
TaxOz was born out of a neccesity recognized by our founder, Vikas Sood (CPA) – the need for accounting firms to take advantage of a rapidly gloablising environment and to navigate the complexities of the industries without the burden of excessive costs and inefficiencies.
Having worked across Australia, New Zealand and India – Vikas realised how synergies between offshore talent and local accountants in Australia can be achieved. Starting with a small team, Vikas quickly expanded TaxOz by assisting growing accounting firms access offshore talent, customise solutions and automate their processes achieving up to 60% savings in labour processing costs. Our journey at TaxOz began in 2020, when in the midst of a global pandemic, we assisted a local accounting practice based on the shores of WA in getting access to the plethora of diverse F&A talent that exists in the Indian market.
Today, as our team has grown to over 40+ people and with over 300+ clients, TaxOz remains committed to our core focus on integrity, quality and customer satisfaction. These principles are at the heart of our operations, guiding our processes from talent acquisition to delivering outstanding SoPs to our clients.
